Production
Having created a wide network of producers – members, the company PANTAZIS FRUIT constantly invests in the primary sector, continuous training and strict supervision of the produces, which are strictly certified in accordance with the international standard on the application of the Good Agricultural Practice principle of GLOBALG.A.P., the production of safe agricultural products under absolutely controlled conditions. The company also has its own produce, of total surface of 123 acres.
Hydroponics
Aiming at the constant modernisation and the evolution of the cultivation techniques and methods, during thelast years, the company PANTAZIS FRUIT has invested in the application of hydroponic systems, in private produces, of total surface of 12.3 acres, where new varieties are also cultivated, among others.
Standardization & Packing
Upon the delivery of the raw materials inside the standard unit of the company in Lechena of Elis, and at all stages of sorting, standardisation and packaging, all products are subject to strict quality checks by a
team of agricultural specialists, in accordance with the international standards IFS Food Standard, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and HACCP Good Hygiene Practices. Aiming at consumers’ health, all the
raw and auxiliary materials are strictly selected, as are the packaging materials, upon the delivery of which fully certified methods are applied.
Through the application of an integrated Product Traceability System
of double direction, we fully monitor the products as they are transformed at the various phases of the production process or transported in the supply chain:
“from the farm to your table”, and vice versa!
Storage
The products are stored and maintained in 23 special, modern cool stores, under absolutely controlled conditions, with constant measurement of oxygen, carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity, maintaining their excellent quality. The company has specially constructed cool stores for pre-cooling and maintenance of the products, so that, during their transportation and up to their delivery, the appropriate temperature of the load can be maintained.
